You Are What You Practice…

Therapeutics April 10, 2010

Vashi!Anusara Yoga is a brilliant new paradigm in the practice of Hatha Yoga.  Developed by John Friend, Anusara Yoga’s Universal Principles of Alignment both enhance the depth and experience of postures and are an effective methodology for easing and eliminating pain and discomfort.

During Therapeutic sessions, a combination of mindful re-education of the body, refinement of the attention span and aligned body work, restructure the body and enhance optimal flow through limbs and joints to create radiant health and restore function.

“Imagine the benefits of having a coach, guide, mentor, someone who is on YOUR side…  to aid, clarify, teach and refine all you’ve come to love about yoga and yourself.”

From Participants:

“Uniquely talented yoga teacher as well as yoga therapist. Working with Chris to heal my shoulder made all of the difference for me. He didn’t heal my shoulder – he helped me focus on what I needed to do to help my shoulder heal. A master at his art. Delightful experience and well worth the time and money. I learned a lot and still do those shoulder asanas often.” – B.O.

“I came to Chris with an injury that was affecting my practice both on and off the mat. Chris assessed my injury, figured out what was causing it, educated me about my unique anatomy, provided me with homework, and followed up to make sure I was on the right path.  Chris has a gentle touch but is firm in his expectation that you will heal yourself with his help.  I so enjoyed my sessions with him, I came back for more–asking for and receiving help with asanas I found challenging and that I suspected I was performing improperly.  Chris’ knowledge of anatomy is astounding, as is his command of yogic philosophy.  I feel honored to have spent one-on-one time with him.” -M.D.
